Drumheller RCMP, The Drumheller Fire Department and AHS Ambulance responded to a single motorcycle accident shortly after 4 p.m., Saturday. A group of motorcyclists was traveling west on Highway 575 just passed the top of the Carbon Hill, when one rider appeared to lose control breaking. The bike was reported to have flipped a number of times before coming to a rest in the north ditch. The driver was taken to the Drumheller Health Centre with undetermined injuries. When emergency services arrived, the driver was conscious and active. Alcohol was not a factor. The investigation continues.
