DVSS is having a great start to the season and are undefeated in league play.
They came home from Tournament play in Acme with a third place finish.
Currently the team is ranked 10th in the province at the 2A level, the only
South Central team ranked. The Dynos will be hosting zones this season.
Last Wednesday night they pulled a come from behind win over Three Hills
with a score of 84-77.
Play begins when they take on J.R. Robson at 8 p.m. Friday.
This season Morrin School and St. Anthony’s combined to put a team on the
court. They are playing a tough schedule in the Golden Hills League and found
victory versus Consort in tournament play. They were also in hard fought games
versus DVSS, Three Hills, Trochu and Stettler.
The Morrin/St. Anthony’s team opens the tournament this Friday at noon ver-
sus Airdrie. To tune up for the Tournament they hosted Prairie Christian Acad-
emy in Morrin Wednesday night.
