The Drumheller Reds steamrolled over the competition at a Crossfield tournament this weekend, sweeping four teams on their route to gold.

The team of 10-11 year olds beat Carstairs 10-4, Crossfield 11-1, Didsbury 10-7, and Delburne 8-1 in the finals.

Coach Kim Moulton says the team has a 9-1 record with one game of the season remaining.

“We’ve been pretty strong this year and it’s been working well with lots of improvements,” Moulton says. “They’re real good teammates who don’t get down on each other and are always helping each other out.”
