Dynos handed first loss of the season

The DCHS Dynos senior boys basketball team’s dominating year continues, although it was handed its first loss of the season.
Despite this, they regrouped and  won the consolation  trophy at a tournament in Strathmore.
On February 12 and 13 the DCHS senior boys basketball team travelled to Strathmore to compete in  the Spartan Invitational.
On Friday night the Dynos went up against the Number 2 ranked team in 3A basketball, Crescent Heights High School from Medicine Hat. The Dynos lost 67 to 64 due to some poor free throw shooting going down the stretch and some untimely turnovers.
On Saturday the team rebounded, and defeated George McDougall from Airdrie 97 to 74, despite being down 15 points in the second quarter.
In the consolation final the Dynos went up against West Central from Rocky Mountain House and easily defeated them 82 to 44.
