BARTHOLOW
Ronald Ross

October 19, 1944 - January 7, 2020

Ron Bartholow of Carbon, Alberta, passed peacefully January 7, 2020 at the Drumheller Hospital.
Ron was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on October 19, 1944 and had a wonderful life full of diversified jobs and many, many friends. Anything he put his hand to, he could do well. He loved working at everything from being a driver examiner, security, ranch hand, farm labourer,
weed inspector, to carving wildlife habitats for Deanna’s artistic woodworking. His enthusiasm was contagious, and because he so enjoyed interacting with people, they, in turn, were drawn to his outgoing personality. He was the type of conversationalist who could talk to anyone about anything, and he never lost an opportunity to learn from his experiences.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of over 40 years, Deanna, step-daughter Rayanna, step-son Mark, sisters Brenda and Irene, children Kelsey and Kirk, and his sister-in-law Carole. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Elizabeth Bartholow, brother Malcolm, and sister Linda. Ron will also be mourned by numerous friends, extended relatives and many cousins.
As per Ron’s wishes, there will be no service.

POLYCH
Sherry Lynn

April 27, 1963 - January 4, 2020

Sherry Lynn Polych passed away at the age of 56 in her sleep on January 4, 2020.
She was born and raised in Drumheller and spent the majority of her life there. Sherry worked various jobs over her lifetime, mainly chambermaid positions.
Her most cherished job was being a homemaker. Sherry was a very good cook and always offered to share her homemade meals with anyone who wanted or needed them. She had a great passion for animals, (at one point they had 3 dogs and 3 cats), she just couldn’t say no.
Sherry had a green thumb and really enjoyed planting flowers, learning, sharing her knowledge about how to care for the many different kinds. She was also very crafty, she could make just about anything with some yarn and a crochet hook. She was a very caring and social individual who had many friends.
Sherry is survived by her spouse of 35 years, Gordon Molyneux, children Mitchell Cormack (Anna), Michelle Bascom (Michael); four grandchildren, Shandi and Anastasia Cormack, Phoenyx and Falkon Bascom; sister-in-law Bonnie Polych, two sisters Karen Holt, Sheila Paullus (Rick), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Ruby and Walter Polych, brother Allen Polych, grandparents Phyllis and Percy Whitford, and son Steven Cormack.
Sherry would never have wanted a funeral service so there will be a celebration of her life held in April closer to her birthday. Exact location and date to be announced at a later date.
Flowers are declined and donations (if desired) can be made to the Drumheller & District Humane Society.
