LESOWAY
David Peter

March 26, 1967 - December 30, 2020

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late David Peter Lesoway announce his passing on December 30, 2020, at the age of 53 years.
David lived most of his life in Drumheller. He was a great friend to many - a gentle giant with a huge smile. He had built many friendships throughout his years in bowling, ART classes and community activities.
David loved building model cars, the Dukes of Hazard, the Calgary Flames, fishing with his friends at Michichi, perogies, and most importantly his family and friends. He had an eclectic taste in music, anything from Britney Spears to Christmas music.
David was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Helen, and his sister Joanne.
David will be forever loved and remembered by his only brother James, sister in law Liz, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and his wide circle of friends.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of life in David’s honour will be held at a later date.

BERRY
Joseph “Joe” Stewart

November 13, 1958 - December 27, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Joseph “Joe” Stewart Berry of East Coulee, Alberta. Joe was kind to everyone, social, structured and disciplined. He was honest, unable to sugar coating anything, and strong to his opinions but never rude. He loved spending time with his girls, pets and particularly his grandson; going on adventures including road trips, camping, taking in hockey games and hikes or even adventures on the screen. He loved reading books and watching birds at his feeders and baths which were always filled. He loved telling stories of his military times, reminiscing about the friends he’d made and places he’d been. He enjoyed a big glass of cold milk or a cold beer but always had a coffee in hand. He spent much of his time in Wayne, Alberta where he worked the last four years at the Last Chance Saloon and absolutely loved the place, his work and the people. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. He leaves behind brother Jeff Berry and his wife Vanessa (Nathan and Annie), his daughters, Sophie De Silva and Sadie Berry, grandson, Lucian Stewart De Silva and his beloved dog Jacky who was by his side till the very end. Joe was predeceased by his parents Gordon Leroy Berry and Phyllis Stewart (MacBeath) as well as his dog GrizzBear and cats To and Kiwi who he missed very much. Due to Covid restrictions, also at Joe’s request, no funeral will be held and his ashes will be spread by immediate family and friends.
In honour of his memory, donations can be made to the Drumheller Humane Society.
