With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathy Leonhardt. With family at her side, Kathy passed away peacefully on February 15 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Drumheller Health Centre.
Kathy was born in Drumheller on December 12, 1961 to Lois and Gordon Campbell.
She is survived by her husband Blaine of 36 years, 2 children: Janelle (Geoff) and Josh and 2 grandchildren: Brody and Devin. She is also survived by her brothers and sister: Scott, Crystal and Collin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Kathy is predeceased by her mother Lois and her father Gordon.
Kathy was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in 1987. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends, gardening, travelling and reading.
Kathy will forever be remembered and loved for her kindness, encouragement and witty humour.
The family would like to say thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Drumheller Health Centre for the compassion and care provided. At her request there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church, Stained Glass Fund at 620 2 Avenue W. Drumheller, Alberta T0J 0Y3

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James William Neill. He was born September 11, 1934 and passed away peacefully with family by his side on February 18th, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
Jim grew up on the family farm where he farmed with his father and brothers until health issues made it necessary for him to move to Continuing Care in Drumheller. He has resided there for the past 25 years and called it home. He enjoyed all recreational activities. He liked playing crib, singing and dancing. He also enjoyed his church activities a lot. He received wonderful care there from all the staff and Dr. Mpisi, who were all very kind to him.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, John A. and Susan, his sister Margaret Trentham, brothers Donald Roy, Billy, Don, and Harry.
Jim is survived by his sister Mary (Don) Jackson, brothers John (Karen), Brian (Sylvia) and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members.
A private family funeral service will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. from Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Morrin Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation (Continuing Care Recreational Department).

Mike Kalman Jr. of East Coulee, Alberta, beloved husband of Vivian, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021 at the age of 72 years.
Born October 14, 1948 in Tilleur, Belgium and immigrated to Canada in 1951 with family. Mike grew up in East Coulee and attended school in both East Coulee and Drumheller. After high school he attended DeVry in Toronto graduating in 1968 with a diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology. In 1969, he started with Alberta Gas Trunkline and 30 years later retired from TransCanada Pipelines in 1999. Married the love of his life, Vivian Kimmel in 1973 eventually moving to Vegreville to raise three sons. He spent his spare time coaching son’s hockey and baseball teams while also spending time camping, fishing and playing softball with Nova. After stops in Brooks and Medicine Hat, Mike and Vivian moved back to East Coulee to enjoy retirement where Mike’s interests turned to carpentry.
Besides his loving wife Vivian, Mike is survived by his three sons Lance (Hazel), Kevin (Amanda), Richard (Ann-Marie), five grandchildren, Dominyk, Brayden, Paige, Everett, Bennett, two sisters Mary Kolenz (Larry) of Calgary, Helen Overwater of Delburne, five brothers, Frank (Donna) of East Coulee, Louie (Sheryl), John (Deb), Nick (Donna) all of Calgary, Steve (Marlaine) of Nanaimo, BC, two brothers-in-law, Lyle Kimmel (Karen) of Wetaskiwin, Jim Tuffnell of Calgary, one sister-in-­law, Connie Jordison (Darrin) of Maderia Park, BC along with numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mike is predeceased by his parents, Mike and Maria Kalman, parents-in-law, Arthur and Rita Kimmel, brother-in-law, Paul Overwater and sister-in -law, Wanda Tuffnell.
