Bob passed away in Kelowna after a long struggle with lung cancer on September 26, 2022.
Bob leaves behind a son Calvin and a daughter Courtney, his mother Pat (Phil) Grenier, his father Don (Maryann), four sisters Kathy (Hal) Wellwood of Kelowna, Lauralee (Dwayne) Berlando of Blackfalds, Trish Bailie of Drumheller, Victoria Bailie of New Brunswick, step sister Jolene Crone of Drumheller, numerous nieces, nephews, two special friends from Vancouver who were always there for him - Wayne and Cindy.
While Bob was living in Kelowna on the acreage with Kathy and Hal, he enjoyed horseback riding, helping with chores, plowing snow in the winter. He will be missed by his family.
At Bob’s request he wished to have a Funeral Service and be laid to rest at the Morrin Cemetery. Bob’s Funeral
Service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Morrin Community Hall, interment to follow at the Morrin Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Research Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta and N.W.T.

Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Perry Bayley died on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. She will be dearly missed. She was born in Calgary in October 1949. Throughout her childhood, she lived in many cities and towns across Canada from St. John, NB to Medicine Hat, as her family followed her father’s career across the country. She received her diploma as a Registered Nurse from St. Jean’s College/Edmonton General Hospital. As an adult, she settled in Drumheller, Alberta.
Beth was fiercely independent, adventurous, and opinionated. She was a prolific communicator and would often pen lengthy letters to family and friends. She was a good sailor on any vessel. She loved to dance. Beth adored all animals and could not be content without a dog or two and a cat to care for. She was a voracious reader, and an avid crafter, even selling some of her crewel work. She could solve the Rubik’s cube in short order.
Beth celebrated her 38th year sober a few weeks before her passing. She was deeply appreciative of her sponsors.
Beth is survived by her husband Grant Bayley of Drumheller, her sister Sheelagh Perry, her brother Ian Perry (Patricia), and her nieces Meagan (Emily), Skye, and Caitlin Perry.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beth’s name to the SPCA.

Mavis Genette Keith-Gerber formerly of Drumheller passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on September 22, 2022 at the age of 83 years.
Mavis was born February 23, 1939 in Edmonton, Alberta to John and Elizabeth Keith.
Mavis enjoyed a lengthy career as a teacher with the majority spent in the Drumheller area. Upon retirement, Mavis shifted her focus to volunteerism in her community,
genealogy, travel, decorative painting, woodwork and quality time with her family. Mavis will be missed by her loving family.
Mavis was predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth, sister Elaine, brothers Ralph, Angus and her loving husband Ernest Gerber.
She leaves to mourn three sons, Ian (Connie), Danny (Bertha) and Darren, grandchildren Kayanna, Kaleb, Janelle and Brianne, one sister Lauretta, and one brother Dawne (Jean).
Funeral Mass for Mavis will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, interment to follow in the Drumheller Cemetery.
