Mavis Genette Keith-Gerber formerly of Drumheller passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on September 22, 2022 at the age of 83 years.
Mavis was born February 23, 1939 in Edmonton, Alberta to John and Elizabeth Keith.
Mavis enjoyed a lengthy career as a teacher with the majority spent in the Drumheller area. Upon retirement, Mavis shifted her focus to volunteerism in her community,
genealogy, travel, decorative painting, woodwork and quality time with her family. Mavis will be missed by her loving family.
Mavis was predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth, sister Elaine, brothers Ralph, Angus and her loving husband Ernest Gerber.
She leaves to mourn three sons, Ian (Connie), Danny (Bertha) and Darren, grandchildren Kayanna, Kaleb, Janelle and Brianne, one sister Lauretta, and one brother Dawne (Jean).
Funeral Mass for Mavis will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, interment to follow in the Drumheller Cemetery.

Born March 25, 1942 in Wayne, Alberta to Mary and Joseph Orosz of Cambria, Alberta.
The family move from Cambria brought Albert to Nacmine in 1945. There he attended the Nacmine School grades 1 - 9 and High School in Drumheller. Later, Albert took Business Administration at SAIT.
Marrying the love of his life, Patricia Ann Williams, with Reese and Elisabeth, the family unit began its journey.
Now saying a loving ‘Good-bye’ is loving wife Patricia, Elisabeth Schmidt (Ross), Reese Williams, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Marian Holman (Jim), sister-in-law Judy Taylor, brother-in-law John Taylor (Caroline), many nieces and nephews, brother Alfred (Judy).
Welcoming Albert home, father Joseph, mother Mary, life-long buddy Mike Oshust, brother-in-law Roy Taylor LCOL, and nephew Brian Taylor.
We will celebrate Albert’s life at a later date.

Diane passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer with her daughter and loved ones by her side.
Diane was a loving wife, mother, sister and Aunt. Mama loved her family, her flower gardens and her angels. She was everyone’s favourite Auntie.
She will be loving remembered by her daughter Kalinda and son-in-law Ron Milton. Her great-niece Taya Rose and great-nephew Taler were her everything. She also had a very special bond with her sister Dale and niece Felicia. She also leaves to mourn her loss her brother Melvin, sister Marilyn and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Diane was predeceased by her husband Mathew; her parents Christopher and Helen Sieppert; brothers Lawrence (Joyce), Ed, Donald, Ronald, Rodney, Sidney, Jesse and Victor; sisters Vivian, Darlene, Linda, Shirley, Caroline and Rosie.
A special thank you to Dr. L. Olfert, Barb T, Dr. B. Randolph, Dr. A. Mateer and the nursing staff at the Drumheller Health Centre for your care and compassion given to my Mom over the past 2 months. Also thank you to Dr. Lau and Unit 46 nursing staff at the Foothills Medical Centre.
To Amanda, Tina and Sunday, thank you for being my rock, a shoulder to cry on and my family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Nacmine Community Hall at 11:00 a.m.
