WORMAN
Daniel Lewis

September 24, 1944 - April 22, 2023

Danny leaves to mourn his wife, Heather, of 35 years, her parents, Frank and Esther Dyck and his 6 children: Trish (Pat), Kari (Jack), Susan, Dan (Anna), Jen and Jamie, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Bill Worman and Laura Worman, and his brother-in-law, Al Karakuc.
Danny enjoyed life to the fullest. Outdoors, in the sun, is where he loved to be. Fishing, hunting with his Labrador companions, playing sports, feeding and watching wildlife, gardening, yard work were some of his favourite hobbies. He passionately “couch coached” his Calgary Flames and Stampeders. Gathering collections to fill his “trunk of treasures” was another passion. Danny was part of the very first Corp of Officers to be hired to work at the Penitentiary, which he was particularly proud of. Danny enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He really loved and cherished his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his sisters, brother, and their children. To him family was everything.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Make a Wish (Canada) or the B.C. and AB Guide Dogs.
