Christina (James)

May 20, 2023

Mary Isabella Christina Ask (James) of Drumheller, Alberta, beloved wife of the late Orval James Ask, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2023, at the age of 94. Mary was predeceased by two sisters and one brother, Edie, Mildred, and Albert. She is survived by her children and their respective spouses Valerie (Lorne), Debbie, and Allan along with her grandchildren.
Her faith in the Lord’s grace and love was shared with those around her; Mary quilted for those in need, served with the Lady’s Aid group, and fostered numerous children through the years. You see, Mary always stood by her convictions and passions and lived them to the fullest. She loved her family, was honest, and had such a sense of humour. You could find Mary gardening, enjoying the birds it would bring, volunteering at the Lutheran church, baking for weekend family gatherings, and dancing to country music. We are grateful for the love and life she brought to so many.
Family and friends are invited to remember Mary at a Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Drumheller Municipal Cemetery (Outdoors).
