No major flooding is expected as Alberta Environment gave a streamflow adivsory for the Red Deer River upstream of Dickson Dam and a flood watch warning for the Little Red Deer River on Friday morning.
Since Wednesday morning, 60 to 80 milimetres of percipitation has fallen in an area along the eastern slopes from Calgary to Pincher Creek, Alberta Environment said in a release on Friday. They are expecting an additional 20 to 30 milimetres to fall by Saturday.
