Golden Hills releases three-year Education Plan and Assurance Framework

Golden Hills new 2020

Golden Hills School Division Board has released the 2021-2024 GHSD Three Year Education Plan and Assurance Framework.
Golden Hills prepares these documents to inform stakeholders and the public about the progress the Division is making and the measures it takes to ensure students are receiving the best education possible.
The document includes information on student achievement results, Golden Hills’ class sizes, and the 2021/2022 budget.
“It is actually very similar to what we have done in years past. In years passed, it was a combination of our education plan and an Alberta Education Results report,” explains Superintendent Bevan Daverne. “This year, the Alberta Education Results Report (was not included), because we don’t have Diploma Exam results and PAT results for a few years,

there’s a little less information.”
He says the report also differs because they have been able to add some of their own focus.
“That book is actually the working document and over the course of the year we are going to be adding some local measures as well,” said Daverne.
He says they are looking at moving the document over into a live website dashboard.
