Three Hills RCMP are investigating a break and enter of a residence in the Village of Delburne and are asking the public’s assistance to help identify a suspect.
On Wednesday, February 15, Three Hills RCMP responded to a break and enter at a residence in Delburne.
One male suspect entered the residence and stole a black purse that was on the kitchen table. The purse contained the identification of the victim, along with a health care card and bank card.
The victim was home at the time but asleep in another room.
Video surveillance obtained from the residence shows a male walking up to a basement door where he is seen knocking on the door. The video ends and it is believed he walks up to the patio door and walks into the residence.
There was no damage at the point of entry and the door may have been unlocked . The suspect appeared to be walking with something in his back-right pocket, possibly a hammer or another type of break in tool.
The suspect is described as light complexion with a short beard and wearing a black ball cap, blue jeans, black long sleeve shirt, and black shoes.
