Scotch Club tours the Valley



The Drumheller Scotch Club toured the Valley tonight. The club stopped at the Orkney Viewpoint. Club member Marcel Augey explained that the name Orkney actually came from the Orkney Islands in Scotland (see link)

The Drumheller Scotch Club meets regularly to learn about different Scotch and Whisky brands and enjoy local establishments.

Horseshoe Club razed by fire

Fire and police are investigating what appears to be another case of vandalism overnight when the Drumheller Horseshoe Club facility in Centennial Park was burned to the ground.

Drumheller Firefighters responded to the blaze at about 1 a.m. October 18, which by that time was fully involved

The shelter that sits behind the Drumheller Memorial Arena was completely destroy by fire.

Fire investigators and police were at the scene Saturday morning assessing the damage. The investigation continues.

Saturday morning Chrysler cruise

Members of the ALX Car Club were through the valley on a cruise Saturday morning, October 18.  The national club, which is home to owners of Chrysler products including Chargers, Challengers, Magnum and 300s, has made the trek to the valley for the last six years.
