After the beast crossed the ocean from Japan on Monday, the Drumheller valley now has a breathing, moving, terrifyingly real tyrannosaurus rex roaring in the soon-to-open Fossil World on North Dinosaur Trail. 
The Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps “Furious” in Drumheller went to the Sports and Drill event at the Edmonton Garrison on April 3 to 5. Alberta’s 17 sea cadet corps, over 600 cadets, competed in various events such as range shooting, soccer, drill and more, and ‘Furious’ was awarded the silver medal in overall distinction. This marked the first time ‘Furious’ ranked so highly in any competition. Town of Drumheller Crews worked to install services on site. The Communities in Bloom will rent out parcels of earth to locals, who will maintain them.
