Donations continue to pour in for the Carbon Community Centre in dedication to Daryl Hay.Daryl Hay passed away on Friday, March 27 in an avalanche while snowmobiling in Golden, BC. In a gesture fitting to his dedication to the community, the family asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Carbon Community Centre for new chairs, a cause Hay truly believed in.

A letter written by an American Civil War soldier who witnessed the battlefield death of his great grandfather Captain Thomas Bryson CO.G 63 regiment, a Confederate soldier in the U.S Southern Army.The letter was written years after the war and published in an unknown American newspaper.
