A race bandit ran the Dinosaur Half in Drumheller on Sunday, September 12. This man refused to pay the entry fee, claiming it was his right to run where and when he pleased.
Race bandits and other individuals who participate in community-sanctioned events without paying raise liability issues as well as moral ones, oragnizer Colin Kloot said.
Kloot said the man will not be welcome to race in the Dinosaur Half next year, and suggests that other event and race organizers keep an eye out for him in their future events.
