The sun was shining bright, as landowners, community members, Suncor Energy representatives, and Teck Resources Ltd. representatives all gathered at the Dalum Community Hall on Tuesday June 12, for the official grand opening of the Wintering Hills Wind Power Project.
Spending 10 weeks, over the summer of 2010, in Mukinge Hospital in Zambia, Michelle Pieké was inspired to do a similar mission. Pieké is a physiotherapist at the Drumheller Health Centre.
At the last meeting of the Drumheller Town Council, a delegation from Aqua 7 Regional Water Commission requested council consider a new proposal to expand the boundaries of its current agreement with Rocky View County.
