Organizers of the Ride for Brandon Hall presented the family with a cheque for $20,000 on Wednesday evening.

The poker run was held Saturday to raise funds for Brandon Hall, a Drumheller man who underwent surgery to remove a tumor in Indiana this week. There are still more funds coming in for the family.

These awesome girls are doing what they can to help raise funds for the Fort McMurray crisis while also helping you cool off this weekend.

Alexa Scott, 9, Liv Heptonstall, 11, and Lexi McInnis, 9, will be running a lemonade and iced tea stand all weekend on Poplar Street in north Drumheller to help raise funds for pet supplies like food, litter, and kennels for the pet victims of the wildfires in Fort Mac, and plan to send items up with the RCMP members who will be deployed up north on Sunday.

You're never too young to help out if you have the heart. Drop by this weekend for a cold drink for a good cause!
