The Town of Drumheller is encouraging residents to switch to e-billing in order to become more efficient and environmentally friendly with the announcement of the Thrill of the e-Bill Contest on Wednesday.

Residents who sign up for e-billing on their utility accounts with the town will receive $5 off their next utility bill, as well as be entered into a draw to win gift cards and prizes from local merchants. Two prizes will be drawn every month until the contest ends on October 31 this year.

"Town administration continuously strives to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs. Postage is a significant annual expense. Being able to provide the convenience of e-billing while reducing costs as well as our environmental footprint is a win-win," said Barb Miller, director of corporate services.

Contest rules and regulations are available at the www.dinosaurvalley.com or by calling 403-823-6300.
