The Town of Drumheller advises that there will be a traffic reduction to one lane on the Gordon Taylor Bridge beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday June 6th to test the bridge’s concrete deck.
”Additionally, drivers may encounter a flag person between Grove Ave. and Riverside Dr E on Hwy 9 as workers survey the road and lane markings. The closure will be temporary and will last until approximately 6 pm,” said director of infrastructure Armia Mikhaiel.
“This is part of the preliminary engineering for the rehabilitation of the bridge currently set for construction in 2019,” said Julia Fielding Communications Officer for the Town of Drumheller.
