Spring clean to help the Rotary White Elephant sale

Residents looking at their filled garage, basement or spare room and thinking “I need to get rid of some of this” can help out by donating their items to the Rotary Club.
The club is holding their annual White Elephant Sale this year Friday, April 25 from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The sale is again in the former Liquidation World site at Greentree Mall.
Organizer Doug Stanford said there’s “something for everybody” at the sale.
Something new they’re trying this year is “fill the cart”  - for the last hour of the sale, shoppers can fill a cart for ten dollars and cart it all away.
“Fill it as high as you want,” said Stanford.
The white elephant sale was revitalized after a number of years, and Stanford notes all the money raised at the sale by Rotary goes back into community projects.
Valley Bus Society, the Drumheller Health Centre, Badlands Search and Rescue, Friends of DVSS and Angel’s Corner are a few of the organizations the Rotary Club of Drumheller has contributed to this past year.
This year, Rotary also completed their $50,000 donation to the Badlands Community Facility ahead of schedule.
The sale is unable to accept any mattresses, hide-a-beds, cribs, car seats, older-style televisions, or computers.
To drop off or have items picked up for the sale, April 20 - 24, 4-8 p.m.,  please contact:
