How long have you lived in Drumheller? My whole life.
What do you like most about living here? It’s a very friendly town and I know a lot of people.
Is there anything you would change? One thing would be not having the plows pile the snow in the middle of the street.
Any travel destinations in mind? Hawaii one day. It’s beautiful, sunny and has great beaches.
Favourite places you’ve been so far? Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
When and where would you go if you could travel through time? I would check out the 70’s and 80’s. The hair was really cool.
What is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life? Pasta, because there are so many different kinds.
What is the most memorable Christmas present you’ve received? Three years ago I got all of Tim Burton’s movies.
Favourite movies? Nightmare Before Christmas and Cinderella.
What’s on your playlist? My favourite song is "Red" by Taylor Swift and for bands, my favourite is Cascada. They make dance music.
What is one piece of technology you could not live without? I couldn’t live without my cell phone, but I really couldn’t live without my dog.
Favourite sports? I like to watch hockey. I used to play volleyball. I really like running.
Skiing or snowboarding? I like both, but I can’t snowboard very well. When I snowboard, I pretty much slide down on my butt.
What superpower would you want? Fly. It would be so much fun.

What are your favourite teams? I am a Montreal fan at heart. Alouettes, Canadiens.  For baseball I keep my loyalties in Canada with the Blue Jays.
Skiing or snowboarding? Can do both, but would much rather be refereeing hockey in the winter.
Any words of wisdom? Rest satisfied in doing well; leave others to talk as they please.

Who Are You? Lyle Rowe

Age: 55.
Employer: Badlands Community Facility.
Occupation: I design and plan recreation and fitness programs.
How long have you lived in the area? I was born in Drumheller, moved away for several years, and then moved to Michichi in 2006.
What do you like most about the area? The cohesiveness of the communities around here .
What is the coolest place you’ve travelled to? I went to the Oregon coast in 1990 and 1991 on a biking trip. It’s beautiful and really peaceful. There’s a book in the library about the top biking trips in the world and I’ve done four of them so far.
If you could travel through time, when and where would you go? Back to the 1940’s and 1950’s. From the stories my grandparents told, it seemed like communities back then were really close-knit. Conceptually it’s appealing, but probably not very glamorous.

Any favourite teams? The Calgary Flames, Red Deer Rebels, and Drumheller Dragons.
What would you do with $1 million? Cover the deck on our house, build a one- or two-car garage, help support the community, and go travelling.
What superpower would you want? Invisibility.
Any words of wisdom? In the words of Red Green, keep your stick on the ice.
