Who Are You? Stacey Stewart

Age: 24.
Occupation: General manager.
Employer: Boston Pizza.
What do you like most about your job? Working with great staff and being able to talk with so many people in the community.
How long have you lived in Drumheller? 10 years.
Where are you from originally? Innisfail.
What do you like most about Drumheller? I have a great group of friends and I love the small town atmosphere. A trip to the grocery store can take hours, because you run into a dozen people you know and chat for a bit.
Anything you would change? We need a skate park. I’m volunteering with the Drumheller Association of Skateboard Enthusiasts to make sure we get one.
Any travel destinations on your bucket list? I’m going to Mexico in a couple months and I want to visit my grandfather in New Zealand.
Who would you most like to hang out with for a day? Zakk Wylde, he’s the lead singer and guitarist for Black Label Society.
Do you do any volunteer work? I coach gymnastics and volunteer for quite a few other things, like SpringFest and the Spring Gala.
What do you do to unwind? Read and hang out with friends and family.
Recommend any books? 50 Shades of Grey and J.D. Robb.
What is your most memorable childhood toy? Tin Tin, my teddy bear. I’ll probably give to my kid one day.
Favourite movies/TV shows? Bones, The Walking Dead, True Blood. For movies, Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton, Superbad, and Get Him to the Greek.
What would be your theme song? I really like Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. Ever since I watched Rock Star, I can’t stop listening to it.
What’s on your playlist? Volbeat, Incubus, Five Finger Death Punch.
What superpower would you want? Invisibility.
Any words of wisdom? Every minute is a chance to turn it all around.

Age: 26.
Employer: Q91.
Occupation: Morning show host.
What do you like most about your job? Interacting with people and helping the community.
Where are you from originally? Winthorst, Saskatchewan.
How long have you been in Drumheller? 11 months.
What do you like most about Drumheller? This is one of the friendliest towns I’ve been in.
Any travel destinations on your bucket list? I’ve always wanted to go to England and Rosedale.
When and where would you go in time? To 1903 when my great grandfather settled our farm. I would love to see what it was like then.
Who would you want to hang with for a day? No question about it. Doug Stanford.
Do you volunteer? With the Rotary Club mostly, but I volunteer in the community when I can.
What is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life? Barbecued cheeseburgers.
Favourite movies/TV shows: My two top movies are Braveheart and V for Vendetta. For TV, the news and Dragons Den.
Who would you want to play the part of you in a movie? Ed Helms. I think he looks a lot like me.
Any favourite artists? The Small Town Pistols, George Strait, Darius Rucker, George Canyon, Doc Walker,  Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Emerson Drive. I could go on and on.
What would be your theme song? I Love this Bar by Toby Keith.
What instrument would you like to learn to play? The banjo.
What is one piece of technology you could not live without? My debit card.
Any teams you root for? The Saskatchewan Roughriders.
What superpower would you want? Super speed.
Any words of wisdom? Always be confident, never egotistical.

Who are You? Athena Winchester

Age: 33.
Occupation: Emergency Medical Technician.
Employer: Badlands EMS.
What do you like most about our job? The diversity, and working with and helping people.
How long have you lived in Drumheller? On and off for about 13 years.
Where are you from originally? Three Hills.
What do you like most about living in Drumheller? Drumheller is beautiful. The landscape and people are amazing. Most importantly, though, it’s home.
Any travel destinations on your bucket list? The big one is to drive through eastern Canada. I’d also love to go to Italy.
When and where would you like to go in time? To the past when things were nice and simple. Probably the 1800’s and find out where we came from.
What three things would you bring with you to a deserted island? My camera, cell phone, and my husband I guess.
Who would you like to hang out with for a day? Annie Leibovitz. She was a famous photographer and did pictures for Rolling Stone.
Any hobbies? I love photography. I’ve been working on it for years and have been getting more serious about it. I also do cycling and hiking.
What is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life? My homemade pizza.
Favourite movies/tv shows? The Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, and anything nature related on Animal Planet or Discovery.
What would be your theme song? Tubthumping by Chumbawumba. “I get knocked down, but I get up again. You’re never going to keep me down.”
What would you do with $1 million? Travel and buy more camera equipment.
What piece of future technology would you want now? A teleporter.
Any words of wisdom? Optimism means expecting the best. Confidence means knowing how to handle the worst. Never make a move if you’re optimistic.
