Who Are You? Kelly Memme

Age: 19, but almost 20.
Occupation: I work at Fossil World and H&R Block during tax season.  
Dream job: If I knew that, I’d be at school.
How long have you been in Drumheller? Since 2001.
What do you like most about Drumheller? It’s home and I love the scenery.
Is there anything you would change about Drumheller? I’d put a driving bridge between Nacmine and Midland.
Any travel destinations on your bucket list? Italy would be awesome.
What’s the coolest place you’ve been to? Hawaii. I’d move there if I could.
When and where would you travel in time? The future.
What three things would you take to a deserted island? My dog, a lot of books, and a big knife.
What would be your dream car? A Ford Raptor. It’s such a nice truck.
Any hobbies? Reading and hanging out. I work a lot, so that’s about all I have time for.
Any favourite books? I like most of Christopher Palioni’s books.
What future technology would you want now? A teleporter would be wicked.
Favourite movies: Beetlejuice, Grease, Outsiders, and Spirit.
What would be your ideal pet? A panda. They are just so adorable.
What’s on your playlist? Jack White is probably my favourite artist right now.
What would be your theme song? “Sunshine” by Atmosphere.
Any words of wisdom? Go hard or go home.


Who Are You? Sarah Schille

Age: Old enough to know better.
Occupation: School bus driver, gymnastics coach, and mother of three.  
Dream job: Being a rodeo queen. I don’t know if they get paid though.
How long have you been in Drumheller? Nine years.
Where are you from originally? Saskatoon.
What do you like most about Drumheller? You can get anywhere in 3 minutes.
Anything you would change in Drumheller? There needs to be a place to go dancing.
Any travel destinations in mind? Ireland and Scotland. I’m Scottish, I like the climate, the landscape, and their accents. Also, Bora Bora.
Any hobbies? I love to ride horses, work out, theatre, singing, and I love to paint, but never have time.
One thing you could eat for the rest of your life: Chips, any flavour.
Who would you hang out with for a day? Julia Roberts. I have all her good movies.
Favourite movies: Too many, I’m a movie junkie. But, I’d say Pretty Woman.
What song would you sing at karaoke? Probably something by Bonnie Tyler or More Than Words.
Play any sports? I like all sports, but my main ones are soccer, hockey, and gymnastics.
What future technology would you want? A flying DeLorean.
What superpower would you want? Lie detecting.
Any words of wisdom? I tell my kids everyday to be kind to others and make good decisions.

Who Are You? Laurie Sauder

Age: 30.
Occupation: Salvation Army Core Officer.  
What do you like most about your job? It’s incredible to serve a community, meet new people, share hope, and encourage people.
How long have you been in Drumheller? One week.
Where are you from originally? Swift Current.
What do you like most about Drumheller? My family and I went to the parade and I was impressed by the community spirit.
Any travel destinations on your bucket list? Horseback riding in the Australian outback.
Any hobbies? Crochet, scrapbooking, and my husband and I like playing tennis.
When and where would you travel in time? Back to the Israel and Palestine area to meet Jesus.
Favourite movies: The Princess Bride.
What’s on your playlist? Jazz and classical.
What future technology would you want now? None. I’m so technologically illiterate.
What superpower would you want? Greater intuition, like being able to sense what people are feeling and knowing how to help them.
One thing you could eat for the rest of your life? Chocolate.
Most memorable childhood toy? I had a Real Baby, which is a lifelike doll. I still have it, but it’s in tatters.
Any words of wisdom? The example of Christ, to lay down your life for those you love, is the most selfless and honourable way to live among a community.
