What do you like most about your job? The different challenges I face each day, the obstacles to overcome are always different and it keeps it interesting, that’s for sure.
Are you originally from Drumheller? No. I was actually born in Brandon, Manitoba. I have lived in Drumheller now for 16 years with my family.We moved here for my dad’s work, and my parents wanted a change of scenery.
What would you say you like most about Drumheller? I work up top of the valley where the land is more prairie-like. Down here the landscape is so beautiful, there’s so many aspects to it and it’s just so different than anywhere else.
What’s something most people wouldn’t know about you? Well because I drive around all day and get feeling cooped up in the truck, when I get home I go for a walk with my girlfriend each night. It gives us a chance to catch up on our day and gives me a chance to get out of the house.
What would be your dream car and why? Definitely a McLaren F1. They’re fast and in my opinion, look pretty cool. They’re something different and you don’t see them everyday.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Steak. I love steak. I could eat medium rare steak everyday and be just fine with that.
What would you say is one of your guilty pleasures? I like to watch Storage Wars, Duck Dynasty orSwamp People each evening. That’s what I would say is my guilty pleasure.
What is the craziest thing you would do for $1 million? I would full out swim with Great White Sharks, no cage or anything.
What is your biggest fear? I’d never want to lose my sight. I wouldn’t be able to do the job I do and I like to see my world around me.
