What do you like most about your job? I love to satisfy people’s cravings for good food.
What brought you to Drumheller? We opened the newspaper and this place was in it. I ended up selling my stamp collection to help finance this place.
Have you gotten back into philately since then? Yeah a little bit. I was pretty aggressive back in the day.
How long have you been in Drumheller? 12 years.
What do you like most? I like that my kids can walk down the street and I feel secure.
Anything you would change? I would make it drier, it’s not quite dry enough,
What are some places you want to visit? I want to go back to Las Vegas. I’d like to go to Disneyland or Hawaii. Somewhere tropical and warm.
If you could travel through time, when and where would you visit? I would like to go and meet Escoffier, cook with him, and see what it was like inventing so much food.
What three things would you bring to a deserted island? A satellite phone, a safe full of money (you’ve got to pay for everything you ordered with the satellite phone), and Bernie’s best seasoning.
What would you do with $1 million? Buy a bigger house, a motorhome, and play the market.
One thing you could eat for the rest of your life? Barbecued back ribs, they’re so delicious.
What would be your theme song? Something robotic, because I’m often called a robot.
Favourite books: Anything by Peter Schiff. Anything about economies crashing and how to avoid it.
What superpower would you want? Invisibility. Sometimes I’d just like to disappear.
Any words of wisdom? Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go, they merely determine where you start.
