To those dear friends who participated in Ken’s memorial in word, song and attendance - you have honoured us. The representatives from the B.P.O.E., the Drumheller Institution, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22 and the Drumheller Sea Cadets as well as the floral tributes, the food and the visits were deeply appreciated. The Seibel family want to thank Dr. Maseka, Dr. Olfert, Dr. Bouchard and all the nursing staff at the Drumheller Hospital for your care and encouragement while Allan was a patient there. He loved sitting in the sun in the recliner by the window in his room. You dealt with his pain and kept him comfortable, and to the end, he enjoyed joking with you. A special thank you to the nurse who alerted us at suppertime that Allan was failing fast. Otherwise some of the family would have missed seeing their dad/grandpa for the last time. The Allan Seibel family want to thank all those who helped us out over the last month when Allan was in hospital and then when he passed away. He so enjoyed your visits and cards when he was sick. After he passed away our friends and neighbors brought more than enough food for the family while they were home. Your flowers and cards of encouragement and concolences have meant so much to us all and your attendance at Allan’s Memorial Service was overwhelming. Thank you also, to the Munson Hall Board who served the delicious lunch to everyone. We will always be grateful to you all for your love and support. Thank you!
