Well what a night! I want to give a big Thank You to all my family, friends, adjusters, and past/present co-workers for the wonderful Surprise Retirement Roast held for me on October 22. It was great, and yes it was a surprise. It was so nice of people to come from Southern/Central Alberta to help me celebrate my impending retirement from AFSC on October 29. I truly appreciated all the kidding and kind words given by speakers and e-mails. Thank you to the office staff for the beautiful plaque. Thank you to those who contributed to my generous gift. Thanks to the Dinosaur Trail Golf Club for the great meal and service. A special thanks to my good friend Susan for arranging the party and to her posse of Glory and Elesha for helping out. Last but not least a big thanks to my husband Rick for keeping the secret, making sure it was a surprise and for putting up with all those “bad” days over the past 35 years.
