SARSFIELD, George Edmond
George Edmond Sarsfield, beloved husband of Ann Sarsfield of Drumheller, AB passed away at home on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the age of 84 years. He is also the loving father of Patrick Sarsfield of Drumheller, AB. He is also survived by Grandchildren: Treena and Shawn as well as Great grandchildren Gage, Danya, Dalyn, Andriesje and Alex. George was predeceased byhis mother and father,of East Coulee. After a lengthy illness, George passed away leaving his loving wife Ann to whom he was married to for 61 years. George was an active participant in AA for 35 years. He was also a loving father to his son Patrick Sarsfield and both Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. George was honored at a service at St. Anthony’s on March 10, 2012; in attendance were an abundance of family and friends all of whom honored George and expressed love and consolation to Ann and family. George will be missed by all who knew him. George has gone to a well deserved resting place. Funeral Services were held at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church on March 10, 2012, with Father Mario Basque officiating. Courtney-Winters Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements (403 823 2666).
