GARSON, James David

James David Garson passed away November 12, 2014 at the age of 92 years. Jim was born September 24, 1922 to James and Violet Garson. Jim grew up on a farm in the Orkney District near Drumheller, Alberta. Jim was predeceased by his wife Marjory Garson (1995) and his parents James and Violet Garson, sisters Violet May and Jean Huxley, brothers Hector, George, Victor and Allan. After serving in the army Jim went to trucking for a short time before purchasing a farm in the Orkney District where he had a mixed farm of grain, chickens and turkeys. Jim also loved to garden. Jim retired in Drumheller where he continued to garden and had time to travel and spend winters in Arizona. Jim will be remembered by his children David Garson, Karen Musson (Chris), Doug Garson, Violet Garson, his sister Alice Moar, his nieces and nephews. Grandchildren James, Alissa and Carrie Garson, Brittney and Taylor Guimont.
