The Drumheller Dragons went home from the north with two wins this weekend after taking a 3-2 shootout win over the Bonnyville Pontiacs Sunday afternoon.
The Dragons first goal was scored at 6:49 of the second period by Connor Boyd to tie the game at one.
Bonnyville scored just under two minutes later to take a lead before the Dragons Mitchell Cook scored the tie goal forcing overtime and a shootout. It was Wyatt Noskey that scored the shootout winning goal.
The Dragons will now have the week off before hosting the Olds Grizzlys in the first of a home-and-home series played Friday and Saturday nights. The game Friday night is set to start at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Arena.
