Suspect in Drumheller, Hanna robberies nabbed

On January 23rd, 2015, members of the Hanna and Drumheller RCMP Detachments with the assistance of the Serious Crimes Branch have arrested and charged one male with 3 counts of Armed Robbery as well as 14 other related offences.

Beaulieu was charged after a lengthy investigation relating to three separate armed robberies. On January 30, 2014, police allege that Beaulieu attended the Hanna Husky in Hanna, Alberta and robbed the clerk by brandishing a weapon. Further they allege on March 19th and April 25th, 2014, Beaulieu attended the 7-11 store in Drumheller and robbed the clerk by brandishing a weapon.

RCMP have charged Jean Lewis Beaulieu, 31, of Hanna, Alberta. Beaulieu appeared in Drumheller Provincial court on Friday January 23rd, 2015. He remains in custody and will be appearing on January 28 in Hanna to speak to the charges.
