The Katie Primrose rink wins the Centennial Cup as the Drumheller Curling Club’s 2015 Ladies Bonspiel Champions.
Skip Katie Primrose said it was a good final game, and “It’s nice to beat the sister, too.” Katie’s team won the final versus the Peggy Freeman team, where her sister Julie Primrose played Third, by a score of 6 to 5.
Second place went to Skip Peggy Freeman, Third Julie Primrose, Second Lindsay Janko, Lead Mikayla Bendfeld.
Katie said her team stole a point in the fourth end that got them three points up, and after that they played a clean game.
Katie’s team was runner-up to mom Betty Primrose’s team in the 2014 Drumheller Ladies Bonspiel.
