Q: In the winter, why do I go through so many wiper blades?

A: When your vehicle is parked outside, the snow and ice build up on your wipers - if you turn them on without first cleaning, it will wear the rubber off the blades. If you try cleaning them by snapping them against the windshield, they will crack and eventually break. Cleaning your wipers first will provide longer use.
